Proposed Local Route Changes

  • Elimination of local fixed Routes 2 and 5.
  • Elimination of evening general public Dial-A-Ride so it ends shortly after fixed routes end at 8:00 p.m. as opposed to the current 10:00 p.m. end time.
  • Extend service hours of local fixed Routes 1, 3, 4, and 6 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • Streamline Route 1 to provide quicker cross-service area travel. Stops on Gray, Forbes and Plumas St will be eliminated as Route 1 will stay on Colusa Hwy from Gray Avenue to Alturas and Shasta St. before crossing the Feather River to the City of Marysville.
  • Launch On-Demand Zone in Yuba City and surrounding areas of Sutter County to replace routes 2 and 5 with more direct and convenient service.
