Learn about one of the oldest continuously operating Taoist temples in North America at the Bok Kai Temple and Museum.

The Bok Kai Temple is accessible by Route 1 (which crosses between Yuba City and Marysville) or Route 4 (which loops throughout Marysville). The D and 2nd Streets stop is a less than five-minute walk from the Bok Kai Temple.

Make a day of your visit. Right across the street from the Bok Kai Temple is the Chinese American Museum of Northern California, where visitors can learn about the contributions of Chinese immigrants during the gold rush period. Grab lunch at the historic Silver Dollar Saloon that was established in 1858, or head down the street to the Brick Coffee House.

Connect to Yuba College and Theater

Yuba-Sutter Transit has three lines with direct access to Yuba College: Route 1 (Yuba City to Yuba College), Route 3 (Olivehurst to Yuba College), and Route 6 (Linda Shuttle).  While students take classes and join clubs, residents not studying at Yuba College can still enjoy what Yuba College has to offer, such as the Yuba College Theater, which offers plays and shows put on by students.
